WIP picture help needed

Looking for some advice on taking better work bench pictures, so tell me, what does this picture need?  Yeah I know ,ALOT!!

Biggest thing is more light and at a lower angle, especially in the front.

I prop up a piece of white poster board behind the subject.  Helps the camera to focus and hides all the clutter in the background.

Yes, you need more light for sure. Your image also has a "cool" blue tint to it, which can be adjusted, depending upon...

What are you taking the pictures with for starters?

^This. Two sheets of 11'x18" paper or posterboard work wonders to focus on the model.

I really like the progress you're making on the truck and l like seeing lots of Chrome and or polished aluminum on Rusty/weathered rides. It's a trend that caught on during the "Ratrod" phase and still remains popular. 

I started building this kit and desided I wanted the top chopped but unfortunately I made the cuts in the wrong place which has stalled the project. I set up a totally white back ground for my pics (picture for attention) but any progress pics work, I enjoy seeing them. "Keep Hammering Away" Thanks

OK, so I added some light to my work area, sure does make a difference in what the camera see!! I agree on the plain background for completed model pics, but I like the "in the shop look" for WIP's. Thanks for the help.
