Hello.......this is a 1/24 Tamiya 1966 Beetle VW kit.......that I converted into the "Berlin Buick".......you can go here to see how I built this model......

John, this could very well be the coolest build I've seen since I joined. I'm fascinated how you can create these builds from so many disparate parts and in the end everything fits and lines up perfectly on seemingly your first try! Very, very nice! I have no doubts this build will clean up the awards at any show you enter it.

Johnny boy... she turned out gorgeous Brother and looks great in the sun. Another job well done. I would hate to go up against this one, it will clean up at the shows.

You sure that's not the real car ? I, like so many others, watched your build and the effort you put into this. Until the picture with your hand in it, it is imposable to tell it from the 1:1.

Very very nice, it is just amazing the detailing and opening parts you can do to such a small kit.  You should be proud of your work. :)

I'm dumbstruck!

Until you see your hand in the photo, you'd swear this was 1:1. I've showed this to a couple of people and they couldn't believe it!

Then they see your hand and their eyes pop out!

First class build. I love it
