John Teresi Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Hello.......this is a 1/24 Tamiya 1966 Beetle VW kit.......that I converted into the "Berlin Buick".......you can go here to see how I built this model......
John Teresi Posted February 7, 2018 Author Posted February 7, 2018 And a few more.......thanks for looking.
Silver Foxx Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 A lot of awesome work in this , so different , so wild , well done .
mecklm Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 John, this could very well be the coolest build I've seen since I joined. I'm fascinated how you can create these builds from so many disparate parts and in the end everything fits and lines up perfectly on seemingly your first try! Very, very nice! I have no doubts this build will clean up the awards at any show you enter it. Mike
f1ford48 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 I saw it at the NNL- its even better in person- nice work John.
Mooneyzs Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Johnny boy... she turned out gorgeous Brother and looks great in the sun. Another job well done. I would hate to go up against this one, it will clean up at the shows.
espo Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 You sure that's not the real car ? I, like so many others, watched your build and the effort you put into this. Until the picture with your hand in it, it is imposable to tell it from the 1:1.
Hmann68 Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Need to get out the dictionary and find some new words to describe your projects! Superb as usual ?
Sixx Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 HOLY cow!!!!! That is freekin AWESOME John!!!!!!!!!!!
Phildaupho Posted February 7, 2018 Posted February 7, 2018 Spectacular! This will either scare off or inspire other GSL common kit entrants.
ismaelg Posted February 8, 2018 Posted February 8, 2018 Excellent! Really enjoyed the ride on this one. Great inspiration!

Top.Secret Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 I like everything you've done here, most of all the engine installation.
DumpyDan Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Very very nice, it is just amazing the detailing and opening parts you can do to such a small kit. You should be proud of your work.
Art Laski Posted February 9, 2018 Posted February 9, 2018 Looks great outside! It could easily be mistaken for a real car in the pictures. Nice job, Johnny!
geetee66 Posted February 10, 2018 Posted February 10, 2018 I'm dumbstruck! Until you see your hand in the photo, you'd swear this was 1:1. I've showed this to a couple of people and they couldn't believe it! Then they see your hand and their eyes pop out! First class build. I love it
