I like the car, a lot. It's a shame it never went beyond the one prototype car. And it's interesting, that despite Ford's lack of interest in building many of the GT40 MkIIIs and no Shelby Lone Star Cobras. They would then in a few years decide back and sell the DeTomaso Pantera. And then making the mistake of selling that one though their Lincoln-Mercury stores. Somehow one gets the impression that Ford really know what in that segment of market.
