Ok truck aficionados need help id’ing a part

Stopped by my friends house yesterday and we talked trucks and hung out all day. I traded about 7 kits with him and brought home a KW Aerodyne and a Reefer trailer so I can build the BJ and the Bear semi!! That along with a KW T600 kit.. 

But anyway what I have a question about along with my friend. He had this part along with a few others in a sealed bag and neither of us has seen it before. What kit did this part come out of?? I want to say the Turnpike Cruiser but not sure if that’s right or not...

That was off the old AMT Turnpiker kit.....custom Pete cabover, I have one from a long gone model, in a box.....somewhere!!!

I wonder if this one will ever make a comeback? Yes, it's pure '70's chintz, but so have been many recent Round 2 reissues.

I'd like to have them, those rear fenders would look great on a modern semi puller.
