I saw the Olds wheels and said”Now that is exactly the look I’m after .” Where did you find these? Heck where did you come across the car too?

espo Posted May 4, 2018 Posted May 4, 2018 These Colonnade models never got the respect when new. I like the Hurst Olds you're building and the '73 Chevelle SS looks good also.
yellowsportwagon Posted May 4, 2018 Author Posted May 4, 2018 Growing up in the seventies these were slow heavy and cheaply built. And had huge bumpers. But today they grow on me every day.

yellowsportwagon Posted May 5, 2018 Author Posted May 5, 2018 (edited) This is cool. Looks like you need the right nose though. That car was way ahead of its time for American cars. What else could be a four door performance car with floor shift and buckets in 73? Edited May 5, 2018 by yellowsportwagon Add
DoctorLarry Posted May 5, 2018 Posted May 5, 2018 Nose was gone and rather than shell out $1500 for a Motorealm replacement, I put a 75 Grand Lemans nose on. It will do for now. Buckets, console 400 4 bbl, all options and two extra doors. I bought it to modify. I had a 73 2 door low mile car that had 4 owners but I could not bear to modify it so someone offered me silly money and I took it. This is fun and I can drive it anywhere with no worries.
