Dazzler041 Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 (edited) Well, my first post on the site and on the work bench. Its been a while since I crafted any models and used hang out on a different site called Escale, so this one is pretty much going to be an OB build. statrted with the basic engine build, but first a box shot and instructions, Edited April 3, 2018 by Dazzler041
Dann Tier Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I love this kit!!, doesn't look like you lost anything, its looking great!!
NOBLNG Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Cool! I will be watching this one closely. I bought a partially assembled Revell version at a flea market that I have yet to start.
Dazzler041 Posted April 3, 2018 Author Posted April 3, 2018 Awesome, some of the differences are, the intake manifolds, air intakes on the engine, the lights are pop up and not fixed on the Tamiya models.
FabbricaP Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Will be following closely. Is this the Hasegawa kit?
Dazzler041 Posted April 3, 2018 Author Posted April 3, 2018 Hi FabbricaP, no it’s a Tamiya kit some additional engine work completed
DiscoRover007 Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 I’ve always wanted to get this kit but I was never a fan of the one side mirror up high in the driver side. I wish the kit came with an option for two regular style side mirrors.
Dazzler041 Posted April 3, 2018 Author Posted April 3, 2018 You could always fabricolble your own from other kits or putty mould some?
DiscoRover007 Posted April 3, 2018 Posted April 3, 2018 Nice job so far. What kind of paints are you using on the engine?
Dazzler041 Posted April 3, 2018 Author Posted April 3, 2018 Vallejo Model air both airbrushed and bristle brushed.

Dazzler041 Posted April 4, 2018 Author Posted April 4, 2018 Its the one below that i have been using for the engine component in silver, aluminium finish
Dazzler041 Posted April 8, 2018 Author Posted April 8, 2018 A little update since I last posted the progress so far
Dazzler041 Posted April 8, 2018 Author Posted April 8, 2018 Thought I’d go with this as the body colouring, most tend to with Rosso corsa red, but I decided to go Giallo Modena yellow instead.
