I was trying to figure out a way to store my bottles of Testor's paint and came up with this idea. It will hold 2 bottles deep. Thought I'd share it with you.

I have my Testors bottle paint stored in my "hobby drawer" with labels on the caps so I know what color I'm taking out of the bunch. I've seen a guy pick up 14 bottles of paint before he found the color he was lookin' for, and that's why I label the tops of the caps.

David, show it to us once you have it set up. Interested to see how it looks loaded up.

Here you go. I lean it up in the back of the cabinet and then take it out and I can pick through. I’m going to see if I shake the whole box if that will mix them all monthly. :)

When you lay the case down like that you now get paint on the jar tops, which is something I try to avoid.

Why? Is there a reason? I suppose you could make it stand up tilted a bit. I was actually thinking of mounting it to the cabinet so it was up out of the way and at eye level. But I know of someone who is transporting paints to another location and back and thought this would work well.

That's a very good way to store those little bottles. I always had a problem of having them sitting around everywhere, and I'd lose them! HAHA

I recently acquired four of these from a seller on eBay:

I now have organized storage for 64 bottles!

When the paint gets to the jar tops it make a mess inside the lid and also if it dries it will make it hard to open the jar as well.

I'm going to have to do something like that, I have three cardboard boxes that have one to two layers of paint bottles and like Nick said I have to go through so many before I find the one I want, and that is even though about half of them have colored tops. I just counted them and there are more than 60 bottles and about 12 rattle cans.

My work area is a disaster, I'm not the most organized person in the world. If anyone came up to see it they'd want to know how I ever find anything in the mess. That is if they had the guts to ask in the first place.

I wish that I only had 'bout 12 rattle cans, but I know without counting them that there's at least 60 if not more.

I purchase four of the holders that Bucky  has at our local Dollar store, yes for a dollar each. they where in the nail polish department . So check out your dollar store if one is in your area.
