Gregg Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 I have set up a quick photo studio next to the computer table (which happens to be a door, need room for the three monitors, three printers, two scanners....). Anyway, here is the set up: Wally World flood lamps, Home Depot Daylight CFL 14w bulbs, eBay digital camera. This is the final shot, using a diffuser I picked up from photo store today.
Zoom Zoom Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 Nice! No need to spend big bucks to get great results. Just use good "modeler's intuition" and anything is possible. My photo setup is right next to where the laptop sits...build, photograph, upload all within a few steps of each other. Film? What's that?
MrObsessive Posted July 27, 2008 Posted July 27, 2008 Nice tip Gregg! I use something similar except the inside of my spray booth is my "photo shop". I'll have to check out those bulbs at Home Depot. I get a problem with "yellowing" at times on pics I take............might be the digicam too as it's four years old. I'm not sure what the life span of those things are.
