Thanks guys, I'm having fun. This is the Ford SOHC 427, sold to me as the Cougar version. Looked all over for a picture, couldn't find one. Fictitious?

SOHC V8, 427 cu.in./HP varies with induction.

And another one with a single carb. All three were part of a bag of junk engines and were in various states of completeness. Had to buy resin valve covers for this one.

Ford NASCAR engine. This was sold to me as a 351 Nascar, however I couldn't find any reference to a 351 NASCAR. Anyone have any ideas on what it might be? It does look like an FE to me. And it does have the dry sump oil pump.
