1/144 Grumman Wildcat

This model kit was acquired from an estate sale held at our local IPMS chapter. I rarely build aircraft smaller than 1/72, but I figured it would make a nice change of pace. Everything fit together nicely, but the size of the kit meant that many of the parts were fragile. I have tidied up some of the flaws since I photographed the model, but I am calling it finished...my first (and last) 1/144 scale WW II fighter aircraft!

That looks good, especially for that scale. I always liked the Navy and Army pre-war paint schemes.

Look nice! Just finished up a 144th P47 and I agree those parts are fragile.
