That looks great! I've been working on one now on and off for about a year and I know what you mean about the kit being a pain. I finished swapping in a v-8 out of the CJ-7 kit and had to do some work to make it fit. I should get it finished soon and will post up some pics when done. Nice work on yours, I really like the custom base for it as well.
