Best VW Beetle kit?

Was looking at a Polar Lights VW Beetle kit and was wondering what was the best kit...

IMHO it's the Tamiya 66 beetle. I've built quite a few over the years, and have seen detailing get better from other manufacturers, but for my money, Tamiya nailed the 66.

Yes it is!! I have it in my stash too. Price wise, it's about an even wash between the two. At least around here.

I haven't built it yet, but the Tamiya 1/24 looks very good.  I've missed the opportunity to get the Gunzyo kit, that has photo-etch.
