Rick Wolfe
Hello all, I'm in the middle of building "Jungle Jim red monza funny car" and I just de-cromed the rims and just got the correct super charger in the mail today so I was wondering what color should I paint the rim's and the super charger? Thank you for taking the time to answer, Rick
Daddyfink
Looks like a Magnesium Supercharger, polished aluminum rear wheels and spun aluminum front wheels
nitro norman
Most don'realize that the old Revell Monza funny car bodies are different from the JJ bodies. The JJ body is called a shovel nose. Closely compare it to other monza FC bodies and you will see the difference. For several years now Competition Resins has had the shovel nose in there coming soon section. Last I looked, it's now at the top of the list. Hope we'll see it soon.

iBorg
I want to think the AMT version of the Monza is close to a shovel nose. I agree the Revell isn't truly accurate for this car but is a pretty good body for most Monza funny cars.
nitro norman
Yea, I think most of them were the Revell type.

Tedly
I recently purchased that body too. Was wondering if anyone knows the correct blue for the blue version?

Actually found a Testors lacquer today that seems about right. It's called star spangled blue. Should be OK
