Lordmodelbuilder
I recently got a few older Revell 57 Chevy Nomad kits and these parts were in with one of the kits. There was also a 59 ElCamino bumper. I think maybe the 3 wheels & tires are from the Elky? They are Firestone Supremes. I have no idea what the rear end or engine/partial frame are from. Thanks for any help. Edited September 2, 2018 by Lordmodelbuilder
larman
The motor is out of a Revell 1941 Willys Coupe, I'd say the melted slicks, wheels and rear end are too. The traction bar certainly looks like the ones in the Willys kit. The other wheels and tires are AMT, I would say, and might have come with the El Camino at some point, it has been issued a number of times. The Tires look like AMT for sure. larman
The motor is an Oldsmobile, BTW.

I would agree the wheels and tires are from the AMT '59 El Camino. Are they molded in a greyish blue plastic?
Lordmodelbuilder
Thank you Larry & Casey. Yes Casey, there was one backing plate that was the blue color. Now I have an almost complete 59 El Cam to rebuild.
Oldcarfan27
Wow, that tire really did a number on the wheel. I would not EVER use those tires on any kit parts again!
Toner283
Given the style of the wheel and the color of the plastic and the fact that I have one that looks almost the same, I am pretty sure that the melted wheel and tire are out of one of the early issues of the Orange Crate.
