426 pack Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 (edited) In case you didn’t already know this biuld is inspired by the 65 Goat-A-Mino that was posted in the General forum by Mike999. http://www.modelcarsmag.com/forums/forum/1-general/ I started with an old biult amt 66 ish El-Camino and a 1/2 biult mpc 67 gto. I’m not a big fan of the original frame on the El-Camino and I have already used the gto frame on a different project so I found an amt 69 Chevell frame that I will modify a bit to be more detailed. The motor will be a revell 69 gto 400ci. here are some mock up pics. Comments welcome Edited September 3, 2018 by 426 pack
Phirewriter Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Looks like you're off to a good start, looking forward to seeing the result.
Bucky Posted September 3, 2018 Posted September 3, 2018 Great project! I love the "Camino Conversion" projects. I have done one with a Buick Grand National, and a '62 Impala. It's fun trying to engineer things so they llok right!
