youpey Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 I am looking into getting the model king mustang bronco, but wanted to know how the quality was. i know its based on amt kit, which always worry me. i couldnt find much on-line about it. the link below is the model i am asking about https://www.modelroundup.com/product-p/amt-21572.htm
Dave Van Posted September 10, 2018 Posted September 10, 2018 (edited) It's the same kit that AMT has issued since the late 1960's. I like it....it's simple but much like the real cars were at the time..... My buddy's build....slightly altered..... Edited September 10, 2018 by Dave Van

There's a topic in the Model Cars: Kit Reviews section here: Same kit as the earlier Model King kit, with different box art...much cheaper on eBay than Model Roundup prices, too:
THarrison351 Posted September 11, 2018 Posted September 11, 2018 I had the kit. The included decals are meh. You'll need Slixx to get the look you want. Also it need better wheels and tires. I believe the hood has to be modified too or an aftermarket piece was what I was going to use. I sold it all on eBay.
youpey Posted September 11, 2018 Author Posted September 11, 2018 (edited) thanks guys. i saw the pictures and realized there was no engine compartment and opted for the amt 67 shelby gt350. i was trying to make a street car from a race car, but still wanted the race car bits. i believe the shelby will give it to me Edited September 11, 2018 by youpey
