Monograms "Sling Shot"

As shown on the cover of Hot Rod, November 1956.  This model was actually a copy of Romeo Palamides car, dubbed "The Romeo".   He ran a 3/8" stroked ( 305"), Hilborn injected, Herbert roller cam alcohol fired Desoto.  39 Merc trans ( using second and third), 40 Ford rear with 3.78:1 gearing and a Halibrand quick change.  Total build cost -= $4500.00.
