Whew..this is my first completion in about 4 years...can't say I'm sorry to see it leave the bench... :D

Revell 69 Charger..mean, nasty...tuff streeter....Sat'day night cruizer..... :D

Couple of omitions..the radiator hoses, after stuffing in all the other hardware, I found little room for them, oh well.... Also, just noticed I haven't added the throttle cable and return spring, I'll add them later.

Overall appearance and stance is what I was hoping to achieve...slightly nose-up...ready to launch.....

69Charger019-vi.jpg

And a couple from the rear quarters...

The underbelly got a custom zorst, complete with street "legal" mufflers...

Thanks for stopping by, hope you like...

Rest of the build can be found here @ fotki...Charger....done....>>

cheers

 Stump, not to sound steriotypycal, but it remindes me of the Falcon the Road Warrior drove! Just looks plain MEAN!!!

That's too funny, George...that's what I thought when I saw it, too!! :P

GREAT job on the carb linkage!!

Where did you get the blower pulleys and belt from?

Later,

Cheers guys..

Raul,

The belt is from the Perry's resin set, matched to the pulleys from Model Car Garage...I know, I kills two sets to do it....but they're the best bits from both sets...:P The MCG set also has the secondary groove for the alternator belt, Perry's is more for Strip use only..(full competition)

Yeah, my first attempt at full linkage....not something I want to do again any time soon....

Awesome job with that one Greg! I like the backwards writing on the rear backlite...........very clever!

Yes, that was for a '61 Ferrari 250 GT SWB that I built during 1998-99. In fact the engine is Norm Veber's from Replicas and Miniatures Company of Maryland.

The BEST Ferrari V-12 kit you can buy for any vintage early '60's Ferrari!

Norm gives you a "book" on building it so it's definitely not for the faint of heart.............

My trouble with building a blower type setup like you did would be where to route all of the lines and such............I have yet to attempt something like that!

it looks awesome man

i tried to put some plug wires on my 'cuda the other day but decided it was too much of a pain with the shaker hood

great job

on a side note, i seen the interceptor (mad max's ford falcon) at the hobby lobby the other day

That thing came out sweet my friend, engine looks monstrous on that thing. You just gave me more desire to finish mine, even though it will be more timid than yours!!!

that is one mean looking charger. what did you use for the grille and headlights?

Hi Randy,

The mesh is from the Model Car Garage detail set for the 69 Charger. On a 1:1, the section where the lights are is actually solid/mesh fronted..I wanted something more "custom" so I added the lights from a Johan Cuda behind.....it gives it a different look to most of what normally gets built..

Thanks guys..

Bill,

Ok..very nice detail mate..I would like to "attempt" a nice Ferrari one day...I have one similar to Ferris Beulla's (spelling.?) that needs doing...

Marcos,

I love the direction yours is heading...it looks great man. I'll be doing a more "stock" version with the 68.... B)
