Adhsdad
I have a few questions about the Wild Willie Borsch Charger Funny Car. 1) What kind of injector is it that he ran that was similar to those in the Jungle Jim Vega and Ed The "Ace" McCullough's Duster? It's similar but not quite the same as those. 1a) Does anyone offer it in 3D? If so, what's it called? 2) What is the Orange color used on the body? 3) Did someone ever offer the arm that rested on the window frame in resin at any time and in 1/16 th scale? Thanks, Erroll P
Deuces
Picture looks a little distorted.... Can you come up with some better pictures???? Thanks!
1320wayne
It should be a standard Hilborn injector, however for the sake of accuracy you would probably want to swap in a big block Chevy as that is what he primarily ran in the car. My best guess for a color choice would be Chevrolet Orange engine enamel. It's the closest match that I've been able to come up with. Force
They used two types of engines in this car, a Big Block Chevy wich was the engine with this 3-port injector but a regular "bug Catcher was also used on the BBC, the other engine used was a 392 style Hemi with a "bug catcher" injector hat, no 426 style hemi was used AFAK...so you have two engine options for it. The injector is called an upright injector and could be Enderle, Hilborn or some other manufacturer, Enderle does a similar 3-port today and Hilborn has 2 and 4-port upright. The car from 1973-ish with the Big Block Chevy and 3-port injector. A later picture with the BBC and a "bug catcher" The car with the 392 Hemi in 1974 Edited October 5, 2018 by Force
RAT-T
I ALWAYS THOUGHT THE COLOR WAS A BUTTERSCOTCH, BUT WAS TOLD IT WAS CLOSER TO GRABBER ORANGE.
Daddyfink
I know someone made an arm in resin, but, I can't remember who. You can also just scavenge one from a Revell Driver figure and prop it up a bit. Edited October 5, 2018 by Daddyfink

Daddyfink
My friend used a color for the Burger King NASCAR Stock Car and it was a good match. I don't think it is Grabber Orange. More like 50/50 bar orange or secret sauce Edited October 8, 2018 by Daddyfink
