BeakDoc Posted October 7, 2018 Posted October 7, 2018 I originally built this 1:24 Monogram kit twenty-five plus years ago. A few months ago I retrieved it and others from my dad’s house. I decided that I wanted to dismantle and rebuild it. My original vision for the rebuild was for it to be a pro-mod with the multi link front and rear suspension and 6.1L Hemi from the ‘09 SRT8 Challenger. Instead, once into the build I decided to stick with the 440 6 Pack and original suspension although I did use the exhaust manifolds, pipes and mufflers from the SRT8. I also chose to stick with the chrome-delete theme I had in mind for the exterior. The colors are Duplicolor Bright White and Tamiya Gunmetal. Thanks for looking. Comments, tips and suggestions are always welcomed.
disconovaman Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Nicely done both times... I could see this thing cruising through some small town somewhere in Virginia. Cool build!
DumpyDan Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 Well done, really cool look love the interior,
Koellefornia Kid Posted October 8, 2018 Posted October 8, 2018 I like the chrome delete theme! It suits the GTX very well!
