Want to build a garage with my son for the winter months any tips on what size of wood I need for the 2 by 4`s etc. It will be single car garage like a barn shape any help would be great

I would get some Balsa Wood strips. They come in many sizes. Also check any Craft Stores in your area that cater to Doll House builders. They offer some amazing accessories for the garage.

In 1/25 scale, 1 millimeter is nearly 1 scale inch. Drop a metric ruler in the car and you are good to go. I'm building something similar. I recommend basswood for everything.

Yes, use basswood instead of balsa.
