guidance needed 1/25 people

I have never done much with people/dioramas but want to take the plunge. I am wanting to recreate the following type settings in 1/25 scale.  Nothing is found in the "usual" places with this period/style and (of course) don't want to spend a fortune. 

Any suggestions?

One suggestion for the paddle boat is if you can find a straight on side view take it to a sign shop and they can print it to any size you want.  As to the figures there is a Henry Ford set that might have the appropriate men but the women I just don't know.  Shapeways has some fences that might work.

Thanks Gary.  It is the people that are the problem...women especially.  Hmmmmm.....   anyway, the search goes on.  I'll look into the Henry Ford set.  Wasn't aware of that one.    If you happen to think of/find others, please holler.  Otherwise, I might have to go stroll the aisles of hobby lobby in sections usually avoided as rumor has it they contain kryptonite.

Check for preiser figures on Ebay,  They have vintage RR figures in G scale

Greg, check Walthers.com. You can sort their web site to specific scale (G scale) and figures only. They have hundreds shown there.

Couple of those Preiser sets shown below.  These are G scale (1:22.5) but should look OK with 1/25.  Preiser also makes "real" 1/24 scale figures.  Somewhere here, I have a small book published in Germany about Preiser. All their scale figures are modeled on real people.

The big set shown below is called "The Wedding Party" and has the veil-carriers etc.  The set of 3 women is "Wedding Guests" and one of them is a photographer.
