Interesting that the T/A cars had them. Maybe they used what was available after damage, or something. The street cars used the base Barracuda valance without holes. Thanks for the picture, I'll file it away for my build.

And here: http://www.kitreviewsonline.de/revell-neuheiten-2019-das-ii-bis-iv-quartal/#more-40975 You can find: "07047 Land Rover Series III (New Tool) 09/2019 Kit Level 3 with long wheelbase with engine reproduction, right and left hand drive version" I'm a bit suspicious that it's only a "level 3" even though it has an engine, but it's good that it has both RHD and LHD options. I guess it won't have TWO engines, because I'd like at least a V8 and a diesel... best, M. My guess is that it will be the Esci/Italeri version. On the IPMS website, it states 'New form' rather than 'new tool' which would indicate small details changed, but not a new tool.

But that would say something like "Cooperation Italeri" like it does with the ICM Ford, or "Reissue with new parts" like it does with the AAR Cuda...I would think.
The Creative Explorer Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 @niteowl7710, that seems logical too. Hmm, I guess we'll have to see what is coming, let's say that I hope to be wrong :-) A new tooled defender would be very welcoming!
Rob Hall Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 And the Esci/Italeri 1/24th Land Rover Series III were 109 2drs, while Revell is picturing a 109 4dr (though it's a picture of a 1:1, not a kit).
Fabrux Posted January 2, 2019 Posted January 2, 2019 One needs only to look at the latest Escalade reissue to see Revell still doesn't match box contents to box art.

Different Revell, though... hopefully the Germans are more attentive to accuracy than the past US regime.
