Fieldguy06 Posted December 9, 2018 Posted December 9, 2018 This is my 2017 Dale Jr Coke 600 car, I used tamiya pure white, tamiya light metallic blue. These are a great set of decals from Stoney. I lowered the ride height, made a splitter, added the radio antenna.
TonyK Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Same thought here. Looks great! Nice details and nice job on all those decals.
lou s Posted December 10, 2018 Posted December 10, 2018 Well done............? This car is on my to do list but I can’t get my hands on any of stoneys decals.ive tried for a year to become a member of his forum and can’t get on. Is there another way to contact him?
Jim N Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Looks very nice! Great job with the paint and the decals.
MarkJ Posted December 12, 2018 Posted December 12, 2018 Wow, That came out really awesome Dustin. The added detail decals really add to the authenticity of the model. Like the stance and tucked tires as well.
Fieldguy06 Posted December 14, 2018 Author Posted December 14, 2018 Thanks everyone! I really appreciate the comments!!
Seann Anderson Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 Outstanding. I've seen some tutorials on how to lower the car, but I'm still struggling a bit with it. Are there specific parts or locations you can reference on the car to know that you've lowered it properly and sucked the wheels in enough?

Cut the springs down and the shocks, then bend the a-arms very gently as well. I don’t use the brake rotors from the kit and it helps tuck the tires very well.
Seann Anderson Posted December 17, 2018 Posted December 17, 2018 Awesome. I'm going to post photos of this current build. Thank you for the inspiration.
