scalepeter Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 This started out as the Revel 53 bel air. Aim was to turn the car into a younger sibling to the corvette. This has been shortened and sectioned but left the roof alone. Chassis has been updated with scratch built four link in the rear and parts box front suspension which i think was optional front end from a tri five chevy. Can't remember exactly. Motor is from the revel 37 ford coup kit. Easy to pick the 57 chevy front bumber, the rear is from the 53 kit i'm sure. Wheels are from the 53 kit. Thanks for looking. Comments welcome.
RichCostello Posted December 14, 2018 Posted December 14, 2018 It has kind of a Studebaker look to it.

scalepeter Posted December 16, 2018 Author Posted December 16, 2018 The "red Stripes" were achieved by painting the ribbed area running around the wheel red and waiting for the paint to dry then wiping carefully with thinners to revel the chrome high lights.

David G. Posted December 16, 2018 Posted December 16, 2018 Very Cool! It looks like something that Holden could have made back in the day. David G.
