Raoul, the Firebird is a ‘72 promo that had a lot of play wear scratches and a broken A-pillar.  I painted it with Testors Nassau Blue lacquer.

You did a great job on it! These need mirrors. They just don’t look right without them. This is my 71 that is almost a twin. I also restored a 70 and a 72. I have a 73 to do still but have not committed on a color but I think it will be yellow.

Yours is a bit more accurate, Raoul.  I missed blending in the fronts of the scoops with the rest of it.  That’s a beauty for sure and I look forward to your ‘73.  I have a ‘71 TA to do soon.
