Thanks! There are a few bits that I got no clue.
Goodwrench3 Posted April 28, 2019 Author Posted April 28, 2019 Got the rear suspension on now. Working on the rear axles and the mystery brake assemblies.
Safire6 Posted May 7, 2019 Posted May 7, 2019 Hi Jeff, I PM'd you some pics of how my rear axles and brakes went together. But here they are again. Let me know if you need any other pics.
Goodwrench3 Posted May 25, 2019 Author Posted May 25, 2019 Hey guys -- any of you that have built this kit: did you run into this issue where the rear drive shaft between the drive axles seems too long ?? Here's a pic of mine -- if you did, what did you do ??
gatorincebu Posted July 1, 2019 Posted July 1, 2019 Jeff, Nice work thus far . I love the COE Pete. But the kit can be a real PITA to build . Hang in there . Be Well Gator

Another marvel of AMT engineering :-( I built this kit when I was like 13 yrs old and no way did I struggle with it like this thing. Was the original kit 40 yrs ago that much better?
gatorincebu Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 Maybe it was that our enthusiasm level was much higher back then. And that we were happy about having the model trucks ? Be Well Gator
Ken Gilkeson Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 all of the amt kits take effort to make look right, looks like a great start to me.
