I have a 2010 Chevy HHR SS with a grill like this.

What I want to do is use the Molotow chrome pen on the crosshatch. Is there a UV clear I could put over the Molotow and not dull it ? I was thinking of Pledge as it is a UV product.

The Molotow "chrome" is ink.  I don't think it will last any length of time in outdoor use, regardless of what you apply over it.

You can order one of these for $78.00.

The upper and lower set for $142.00.

I think you would be better off by a long shot than trying to use Molotow ink on it.

I can't see that lasting through a good rain storm.

Alsa chrome paint would be better.  Its designed for outdoor use. Can also brush it on.

Yup, that would be my recommendation. It ain't cheap, but it IS designed for REAL automotive use, and CAN be topcoated with urethane automotive clears containing UV inhibitors without any dulling or muddying.
