DRH_97 Posted February 28, 2019 Author Posted February 28, 2019 Thanks for the tip Randy! Your feedback has been very informative. Now I'm looking forward to building one from the ASA kits. I'm pretty pleased with the way my "prototype" ha come together. Even though this one has been a bit rough around the edges, it sure has been fun to build. I've really enjoyed the creativity.
DumpyDan Posted February 28, 2019 Posted February 28, 2019 Say what you want David, but this is very nice and I think anyone would be proud to display it. Well done my friend.
DRH_97 Posted March 13, 2019 Author Posted March 13, 2019 Finally found time to work on nerf/crash bars
Dave Van Posted March 13, 2019 Posted March 13, 2019 You got the look perfect!!! I like it!!! Be cool if R2 would make a new body or two for this kit.
rmurray Posted July 21, 2020 Posted July 21, 2020 I'm working on this same model. I haven't built a model car since I was a kid. I'll send pics if you like.
DRH_97 Posted August 31, 2020 Author Posted August 31, 2020 rmurry ... post some pics. I would like to see what you've done.
BlackSheep214 Posted September 2, 2020 Posted September 2, 2020 Looking good! Except round my area in Central NY and across the Northeast, Modified were strictly all sheet metal body around a roll cage frame, never using a Vega, Pinto, Gremlin or any make auto body. These are the modified dirt track racers often seen in the Northeast (New York, Pennsylvania, etc...) https://speedsport.com/dirt-late-models/dirt-modifieds/new-modified-tour/
