Ron Hamilton Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Looks great to me. Mine is stalled, due to a bad paint job.
Ace-Garageguy Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 Very attractive model. I've got about a dozen of these, some waiting to become specific cars, some as donors. Great kit. Truly great.
Lizard Racing Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 I can certainly identify with some of the problems you had. This is a well-detailed kit, not like the AMT Vettes of '63-'67. I rebuilt mine from the Delmo Johnson car (#3) to the Chaparral version (#67) at Road America in '64. As an historical note, GS 005 in the hands of Roger Penske was the only one to win a major international race (Nassau '64). Your build looks great.
MrObsessive Posted February 13, 2019 Posted February 13, 2019 I have the HRM transkit and it's treasured by me as I won it at an NNL years ago. VERY nice castings as JC pointed out and I too have a couple of those GS kits..........one as a donor.
2002p51 Posted February 13, 2019 Author Posted February 13, 2019 The real positive coming from this model is I actually finished something!
hvymtl Posted February 20, 2019 Posted February 20, 2019 Very well done I agree with the rest of the viewers that the looks of the car look spot on . hope mine looks this good if I ever get it done Michael
ismaelg Posted February 26, 2019 Posted February 26, 2019 Hello Drew, That turned out great despite the challenges. Finishing such a great looking build is even sweeter when it challenges you. Excellent work! Thanks,
