NYLIBUD Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Was Dino the younger or the older brother of the Ferrari family?Great job
dino246gt Posted February 17, 2019 Posted February 17, 2019 Nice yellow Dino, you KNOW I love Dinos, and Ron, Dino was Enzo's only son, who designed the V6. Enzo was all about V12s. Tragically Dino died young. The 308 was a V8 version of Dino's fabulous V6. 2.4 liter 6 cylinder, hence the name 246. 3 liter V8, hence 308. Older Ferraris were named for the displacement of ONE cylinder, because Enzo knew they were all V12s. 250 is 250cc per cyl. x12 equals 3 liter, yes those Ferrari V12s were only 3 liter.
Kit Basher Posted February 18, 2019 Author Posted February 18, 2019 (edited) Thanks, Ron! Thanks, Dennis! Edited February 18, 2019 by Kit Basher
