Picked up this heller model off ebay the other day and cant wait to start it. Never heard of them but looks like a nice quality kit and it came with paint, paint brush and glue. Its a 1/43 scale so a bit small but should be fun.

Yeah everything is bare plasitc no chrome Which is really nice the tires are black plastic also..its actually a really nice model alot of detail

Wow, what a blast from the past. You could buy, Peterbilt wrecker, a Peterbilt tractor unit, a trailer and a Kenworth cabover. The kit where fun to build, and did not use too much space for display1 Enjoy the kit! I will be following the build.

Made some more progress over the weekend. I painted the cab, hood, fenders and engine/trans ( trans will be going black or red) also assembled the wrecker boom and tower then primered it. Still need to paint the wrecker body though.

Thanks the roof on the cab is going black as well. Pretty much copying this truck as much as i can.

Lol yeah its def a blast. There was a guy that had the 3 pack on ebay. Came with the kw k100, 359 peterbilt tractor and the pete 359 wrecker im doing

Thanks guys...yeah heres a little more progress. Interior is in primer and will be going brown leather. Also waiting for the front cabinet on the wrecker body to dry. Hopfully ill get all the chrome done over the weekend.

Nice work! These were such great little kits! I wish they would have been more successful for AMT, only a couple of different kits but they build up really nice!
