RDean58 Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 The maroon 68 has morphed into a flame red one! I had so much problems with the maroon that I chucked it into the pond and bought another kit. This is the paint job after a dip in the pond as well. The 68 turned out to be a problem child. I have some hood clearance problems with the air cleaner that I will fix. Thanks for looking, all comments welcomed!
espo Posted March 1, 2019 Posted March 1, 2019 Nice looking paint work. I like the red line tires and wheels. The stance looks a little nose high, but pictures may have been taken before the engine was installed. What do you have in mind for the interior ?
RDean58 Posted March 1, 2019 Author Posted March 1, 2019 The stance is off because of no interior or firewall in it. I believe the frame is warped as well so we will see what I can do with that during final assembly. I am thinking a white seat interior for it.

espo Posted March 2, 2019 Posted March 2, 2019 Give a guy a break this is still in the test fit stage anyway.

RDean58 Posted March 8, 2019 Author Posted March 8, 2019 Rear panel is done except for a decal. I had to cut the pins off the tail light lenses to get them to fit flush In the housings., Interior coming along, I need to paint the dash now. Thanks for looking, comments welcomed.
Modlbldr Posted March 8, 2019 Posted March 8, 2019 This is looking good. Nice work that you are doing. Keep it up! Later-
