ZZ Top Eliminator question.

I picked this kit up to build and am curious as to what paint to use for the best color match of the real car. Thanks, Geno.

Not sure how accurate to the real car it is, but I painted mine with Rust-oleum Apple red over white primer. Here are a couple pics in natural light (one in sunlight, one in shade).

I just ran a quick Google search and was unable to turn up any description of the real car's red paint other than "iconic." 

Just use your favorite red, I guess.

Ouch! Dislocated elbow sounds painful. Hope you heal quickly. 

I used krylon fusion red on my Eliminator. Polished and cleared. Also printed plaid decals for the seat.
