I got this on eBay for the taillights. A horrid blue mess. But she cleaned up pretty well. Found I had a lot of custom parts I didn't know I had. It had the original back bumper but found I had a custom back bumper treatment. I actually have 2 of those bumper. Not too mush glue. A broken vent post. And two Front ones also, Now. Do I trade her off or do I build her custom?

Six of one, half a dozen of the other. The stock '61 front bumper/grille/rear panel can be tough to find, along with the wheelcovers; for some reason '62 parts are easier to find. You could swap those in without any trouble and build a curbside '62. As far as customizing goes, you're pretty much limited to front and rear treatments, but you could also alter the door lines to make a phantom two-door convertible (there was a prototype two-door hardtop produced by Lincoln). Take a look at the custom parts in the '64 Mercury kit for some different ideas; the Styline rear end might look good on the Lincoln. Happy modeling!
