I have the feeling that's what's Dann doing already, at least in his "extensive" builds...

Dan if you do another shifter or some other project please do a wip. Would love to see your process for building one.

Hey, Bob!, I will post myself building another one, step  by step, in the near future.

Exquisite scratch building in a teeny scale.  My only disappointment are the 2 quick release pins in the 1:1 photo are missing..................belated April's Fool Joke.   Don't even THINK about it Dann.   Nice building in any size once more.  cheers

LOL, thanks, bud!!...the photo I worked from didn't have them....thanks for the tip!...i'm gonna add them!!

Yes, I would love to see this, too.

Dann, your mastery of raw plastic stock is most impressive, and I must say quite inspiring. I wouldn’t have thought this level of accuracy was possible without resorting to metal. Very well done.

Thanks, a lot, bud!!, I will be posting an in-depth build of one here, relatively soon!  I use to be into getting all the metal, and PE/ detail-up parts I could find, then I saw AFX's work, and decided that I want to keep my builds as "pure" as possible, so I decided to build my bits in plastic first, and if it works.....GREAT!!, if not, then I will use whatever it takes to do the job.  Recently, I've been noticing how most builders SB their hinges, by using bulky metal in unrealistic shapes, and sizes, and made some myself out of plastic that are way closer to a factory look, and are still strong enough to function!...even a set of Mopar hood hinges I made for a friend functioned quite well!!    Don't get me wrong, i'm NOT getting down on people for using whatever they want to build.....I Love checking they're work out, but this is the way I've decided to build myself.
