stitchdup Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 I travelled across to the scottish mainland yesterday to visit the caithness model club show. It was pretty packed with a variety of different builds from wooden sailing boats all the way through to diecast trucks. Unfortunatelly the room it was in had really bad lighting so please dont take my pics as representative of the quality, they were all really well done and many of the diecasts had been redone to liveries of local companies. There are over a hundred pics at the link https://www.flickr.com/photos/111449995@N04/albums/72157707770915545
tbill Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Looks like there was a little something for everyone’s interest there , great looking stuff. Thanks for sharing those pics.
espo Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Thank you for sharing your photos. A very wide variety of models. I'm not a ship builder, but have always been fascinated by all of the rigging and deck details. The dioramas are outstanding. A lot of great looking big rig trucks and farm equipment.
MrObsessive Posted April 7, 2019 Posted April 7, 2019 Wow! Some VERY exceptional talent! Of course, what caught my eye was the 1/8 scale D'Agostini '67 Shelby. Something I'm working on right now, but it'll be quite some time before it gets done.
