Pretty much the same stuff, but available in larger quantities and much cheaper direct from China Edited August 2, 2019 by GeeBee

GeeBee Posted August 15, 2019 Author Posted August 15, 2019 The tack cloths that I ordered on Tuesday arrived this morning, so with the dust nibs wet sanded out it was time for round two, pleased to say this time I'm happy with the results, although I'm glad I ordered two bottles of pasta from MCW lacquer.
MeatMan Posted August 15, 2019 Posted August 15, 2019 Sweet build! I know your body work is perfect because MCW paint will show it all! Fantastic!
GeeBee Posted September 12, 2019 Author Posted September 12, 2019 I was going to polish the paint on this one, but I've just got way too much work on at the moment, so I took the easy way out and clear clearcoated it, one small dust nib to remove from the bonnet, and a good polish will be all it needs, then I need to airbrush the bottom part in black, I masked it off so the clear didn't make the paint too thick.
thatz4u Posted September 12, 2019 Posted September 12, 2019 your builds always look great, maybe you could sneak some mag wheels & exhaust headers on this one....?
GeeBee Posted September 21, 2019 Author Posted September 21, 2019 Bodyshell was masked up so the lower part could be airbrushed in gloss black
tbill Posted September 21, 2019 Posted September 21, 2019 Looking good, I knew the idea to do mine green came from something I saw here, haha.
Deuces Posted September 23, 2019 Posted September 23, 2019 It's looking great! Can't wait to see it finished... ??
kelson Posted September 24, 2019 Posted September 24, 2019 A flawless looking build so far!the exterior color choice really catches the eye.
GeeBee Posted September 25, 2019 Author Posted September 25, 2019 Polishing complete, now I can make a start on the BMF
tbill Posted September 25, 2019 Posted September 25, 2019 That’s looking sweet! The foil will really make that pop.
GeeBee Posted October 12, 2019 Author Posted October 12, 2019 I need to find time to get back on this one, apart from painting the inner roof lining and the panel under the front windscreen, it's been sitting in the hobby room untouched
