I've never seen the above before. Very cool. Any idea when they were produced? Scale? And how hard are they to find today?

Just checked, they’ve still got it. It’s $60 AU

1/24-ish, with a motorized chassis and half interior plate.  First came out in the 70's.

Do not waste your money on that Doyusha abomination. Seriously. If you must have a Capri 1 right now, buy the Whitebox, or the Welly diecast.
If you have enough life left, wait for the upcoming Decalcas kit, which, as far as I understand, will be an injection moulded plastic kit.
Then use a Whitebox, or Welly diecast as a donor for bumpers, wheels and whatever else the rally version lacks.

As for Cortinas, or actually more correctly, Consul Cortinas, there also was a 1/16 scale kit by Frog.

Like much of the rest of Frog's lineup, it was later reissued by Novo in the Soviet Union.

I will never for the life of me understand why this car has not been kitted in 1:24/25 by one single manufacturer. Surely a car like the Cortina that has such a huge worldwide following and instant recognition would be easy money for a model company. If Ebbro, Beemax or Tamiya released one tomorrow I would order at least 10 of them maybe more.
