Monty Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Didn't see anything like this on the Evergreen or Plastruct sites. Any other sources out there?
SfanGoch Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 (edited) Obviously, you didn't look past the first two or three pages: styrene-strip-stock-rod Edited May 28, 2019 by SfanGoch

SfanGoch Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 (edited) The link will work now. I didn't enter the complete URL. BTW, it's Plastruct. Plastruct offers triangular styrene rod from .030" - .125". Edited May 28, 2019 by SfanGoch
Straightliner59 Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 Well, dang! OP was looking for .020". I thought maybe you'd found some! I know I have at least their .030" and .040"triangular rod. Thanks, Joe!
Flat32 Posted May 28, 2019 Posted May 28, 2019 No mention of how much is needed or final length of the part but theoretically it might be possible to heat and stretch the material. I'm considering giving it a try to slim down some Plastruct hex rod for scale 1/2" hex bolts and nuts. Figure to hang the rod vertical with some weight at the end and pass my mini heat gun nozzle along the length.

Thanks everybody.
