Plastruct offers triangular styrene rod from .030" - .125".

No mention of how much is needed or final length of the part but theoretically it might be possible to heat and stretch the material.  I'm considering giving it a try to slim down some Plastruct hex rod for scale 1/2" hex bolts and nuts. Figure to hang the rod vertical with some weight at the end and pass my mini heat gun nozzle along the length.

I'd vastly prefer .020, but if .030 is the closest I can get, I'll try and make it work.  Thanks everybody.
