This is a nice kit but I had problems to be honest . I had a nice light blue I wanted to use but the van was spitting and a change of nozzles but that didn’t work . I had a new can of Tamia silver so I though that would work with the decals . For some reason the silver did not come out too good . The large decals fought me also plus a few other small problems . I take the problems on myself . It was just one of those builds that just did not go well . Anyway , I used black on the the hood with some marblizer. Used different slicks . Pretty much just a what’s in the box build . Not my best effort .

Looks good to me Ray, l like the silver with those decals. And yes those decals do put up a fight, at least they did for me.

Really fine looking Mustang.  Love the street/drag look.  My only suggestion would be to have sanded the "Revell Corp." off the gas tank before painting it.

Thanks Bill. For the hood I just painted it black and used some Black Gold Marbilizer spray paint that you press plastic wrap into to make the marble effect. I have not seen that paint for a few years so I don't know if it is still available,
