peteski Posted July 15, 2019 Posted July 15, 2019 Wow! That one looks familiar, yet different. Its body lines and door handles look like a popular car, but yet, it is not what I would expect.

Luckily enough, I am on vacation again, in a field in Devon, UK. Lovely place but not much signal coverage so I'll just have to wait for the big reveal on Sunday. Some may sympathise but most will recognise a cop out when they see one. C'est la Vie.
carsntrucks4you Posted July 20, 2019 Author Posted July 20, 2019 This time I was looking for a german car from the economic miracle time in Germany in the early 50's. Goliath was a subsidiary of Borgward who was specialised on 3 wheeled cars in the 30's and 40's in Germany. The car has a 688 cc 2 stroke 2 cylinder engine. The name of the car is Goliath GP 700Saloon Convertible. It was build from 190 - 1957. From 1953 the turnsignal lights were move to the top of the front fenders. The correct answer were sent in by ChrisR Richard Bartrop jokar124 Earl Marischal Well done guys. Congratulation
dw1603 Posted July 21, 2019 Posted July 21, 2019 Well I deserve to fail this week, it is so obviously a member of the Borgward family. Even with poor signal coverage I should have got this one.
peteski Posted July 22, 2019 Posted July 22, 2019 Man, that car looked like a long lost version of the Polish FSO Syrena. I wonder if the Polish designers "borrowed" some of that car's design. The body shape is very similar, and the door handles look almost identical. And a photo of a later model showing the door handle.
