charlie8575 Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 With Photobucket going to a subscription model, and photo storage space in your account limited, what has become the preferred photo hosting site for pictures in threads and such? Charlie Larkin
peteski Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 I use this forum to host photos for my posts here. After the Photobucket fail the admins here made plenty of storage space available. Still, I resize my photos to less than 1200 pixels across (often down to 800), because I don't think that a larger resolution photo is really needed for a forum post. That way I also feel that I am conserving some of that plentiful space for others and for future use.
Dave Ambrose Posted July 16, 2019 Posted July 16, 2019 Yes, just attach them to your postings. You can also copy and paste photos. We have essentially unlimited space. The only downside is that full backups can take a long time, and a LOT of space. But that's my problem. Sadly, we lost all of Harry Pristovnik's photos, thanks to Photobucket turning evil.
