Who could ask for anything more? I have a few of those 1st generation AMT Buick Rivieras in my collection, including an original issue 65 annual that I haven't built. Back in the 80's, I built a 65 from one of the Barris Custom Versions. Since it didn't have a set of stock wheels, I found a set of Buick Chromed Wheels and put them on it. I also put a vinyl roof on it, using some grained contact paper. It is Dark Green, with a Black roof and interior. Seeing your builds reminded me of it. I have to dust it off. I haven't looked at it for over 20 years.

Nice save Snake. The 63-65 Riviera is the best looking car from GM in the 60's. Just don't tell the Chevy guys, they cry when that is mentioned.

Why? Chevy blatantly stole from the design in the '66-'67 Nova, the '67 Impala, and the '68-'72 Novas, all of which were great looking cars! B)

Nice resto, where have you find the "Grand sport" marking on the blue one ? :)

It came on it. I didn't do a thing to the paint on the Welly diecast.

I've now seen them in silver, blue, gold, and bright red. I like this blue one the best. B)

Nice save Snake. I like the blacked out grille. I had completely forgotten that was a "thing" for hot rodded Rivieras in the 60's.
