The 2CV has an aircooled flat twin. Nothing wrong with that, but a bit weak. To keep the concept but increase the power my first thought was a VW engine. But swapping one weak powerplant to another was maybe not so interesting....

But....probably silly yuppies will be the first one to go when s**t hits the fan, so there will be cars to loot for the engine, so Porsche engine it is, and still keeping the front wheel drive. Wicked enough?
