Roof rack on Vans in the '70s

Hi,

I wonder if someone here has old photo's of what heavy duty roof-racks looked like on 70s work (not custom) Vans, and if were they bolted onto the roof, or mounted on the drip rails.

Seems like they were always mounted to the drip rails, as the roof itself isn’t very strong ( as far as bolting stuff to it).

Some of the heavier duty ones, plumbers and construction workers, bolted through the roof to the support ribs.
