cobraman Posted October 5, 2019 Author Posted October 5, 2019 Thanks guys. Bill, I look forward to seeing yours when you tackle your to do list.
MrObsessive Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 Ray, that is very, very NICE! I guess I'm not exactly a "youngster", but I've never heard of this show till you mentioned it! Very clean work and yes, I actually like this "slim body" Cobra a bit better than the later 427 ones. Whitewalls are a very nice touch also................so '60's!
crazyjim Posted October 6, 2019 Posted October 6, 2019 For a guy that was getting out of the hobby, you're sure knocking them out lately. Never heard of this honet show, but I like the Cobra.
cobraman Posted October 6, 2019 Author Posted October 6, 2019 Thank you guys. If I remember right the show only lasted one season.
Greg Myers Posted October 9, 2019 Posted October 9, 2019 Funny. the slab sided, 289 roadster had more wins and records than the later 427. And I'm just wondering what's so wrong with that ol AMT kit? looks good to me. along with Ray's build
Ron Hamilton Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 I was fortunate to see the actual car in a museum. Very nice work.
geemoney Posted October 11, 2019 Posted October 11, 2019 I had never heard of it, I was a wee little one then.... if she drove a COBRA.. Im IN!!! amazon wants 19.99 for the season. HMMMM
cobraman Posted October 12, 2019 Author Posted October 12, 2019 Thanks guys ! Heads up Michel, it is not a very good show but they do show the Cobra quite a bit, She also sometimes drove around with her pet Cheetah (?) a times.
Hmann68 Posted October 14, 2019 Posted October 14, 2019 Very nicely done! Never saw the show but your Cobra looks great ?
