droogie Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 1/43 Formula Models kit. The model represents the car driven by Danny Ongais in the 1977 US (DNF) and Canadian (7th place) GPs. I added ignition wires, fuel lines, throttle linkage, transaxle coolant hoses, and brake lines.
dragin70s Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 Very nice, have loved the Indy/F-1 cars since I attended the "500" at the ripe old age of 6 in 1970. Always like seeing the 1/43 work as well, as I have Donohue and Andretti kits of that scale awaiting building on my shelf and want to learn as much as possible before I start one as it will be my first. Really like shot from the rear too. Thanks for showing this one.
ThreeThree Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 Well that came out great. Super cool. Great job.
Silver Foxx Posted November 6, 2019 Posted November 6, 2019 Great looking build , I really like the 1/43 scale builds .
bbowser Posted November 7, 2019 Posted November 7, 2019 Wow! Great model. I can't even imagine adding throttle linkage or plug wires in 1/43 scale
bytownshaker Posted November 10, 2019 Posted November 10, 2019 Awesome detail work on such a small scale car. Edgar
