There were alot of "firsts" (and lasts) on this build...

Makeshift engine "detailing" stuff... throttle linkage, fuel rail/hose etc... blower pulley and belt20191130_012115.thumb.jpg.8fad2e99e5bf7e5e80e55e6645dbe64d.jpg

First time trying solder wire headers... neat, but I'm not sure I like them ...

Nice mold seam on trans... never again.

I learned ALOT of what NOT to do on this build...

Feel free to comment and critique lol!

This actually looks very good considering the kit you had to work with.

Thanks. Its absolutely not the greatest kit... but it went together fairly easy I suppose.

I mainly used this build as a test bed for new ideas/techniques as it's not really a "must have" car for me.

This was my first BMF job, solder headers, fuel lines, throttle linkage, etc...

It was also the first time since I was a kid that I used testors enamel straight from a (very old, low pressure) rattle can... I wound up with so much orange peel I had to wet sand/buff for what felt like years to get a decent finish, after waiting 2 months for the paint to cure... those little cans contain good paint, but that delivery method is criminal. I ruined so many models as a kid with them, I resorted to using full size hvlp and urethane... until I left the hobby.

Since this build I decant everything for AB use.... SO much nicer.
