Trumpeter gave us a 1/12th scale GT 40 a couple of years ago, and now Meng are bringing one out as well. If their Ford Pickup in 1/24th scale is anything to go by it should be good.

A much less expensive alternative to the ultimate GT40 multi medium kit that Marshall Buck over at CMA (Creative Miniature Associates) is developing.

I believe that certain after market suppliers have gone to town with detailing up kits for the Trumpeter GT40.....Wonder if they will retro make for the Meng kit?

It will be interesting to see how accurate the Meng kit is since it is a snap kit.

I didn’t know that... however, I do have a Meng “snap” P-51 in 1/48, and it’s a fantastic kit, not compromised in any way by being a snapper. Just some very clever design and engineering...

best,

M.

That is good news that they can make a snap kit of high quality.

Yeah why would anyone do that as the parts are so big anyway, I mean, parts in 1:12th scale are twice as big as if they were done in 1:24th scale
